Event Coordinator

Seeking an event coordinator to assist in the planning and execution of all private events ranging from formal dinners, large corporate retreats/conferences to weddings and other celebratory engagements. In this role, your attention to detail and passion for excellence will ensure that the client experience is seamless and all internal planning and communications are concise and effective.

This position requires an individual with experience in hospitality, exhibits a passion for their job and finds no detail too small to sweat.

Job Responsibilities include

  • Plan and organize events in accordance with financial and time restraints

  • Plan and communicate all client needs with BOH and third-party vendors

  • Meet with clients and coordinate with them regularly

  • Negotiate with vendors as necessary

  • Handle, coordinate and oversee all event operations

  • Track the overall event expenses incurred internally

  • Carefully supervise event preparation activities

  • Offer solutions to resolve problems in a timely manner

  • Analyze and evaluate event results, presenting key learnings to be applied to future events 

  • Post-event client follow up

Qualifications

  • Experience as event coordinator or similar role

  • Portfolio of successful events

  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success

  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills

  • Good time management and organizational skills

  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
